The role of the Board of Trustees is to govern the school. It is their responsibility to be a good employer. It involves a successful blend of professional expertise, community involvement, and co-operation. The whole focus is on the needs of the children and their learning.
The Board of Trustees at Owhango School are committed to the above and work in close harmony with all staff of the school.
The Board of Trustees meetings are held twice a term, usually on a Thursday at 7pm. The actual dates are published in the newsletter or website in the upcoming events column. All parents are most welcome to attend. Parents wishing to discuss an issue should have it in writing to the office one week prior to the Board meeting.
